These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Mirror Diary: Daily Glow Up ("Mirror Diary", "the app", "we", "us"), an iOS application operated by an individual developer based in Türkiye. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Mirror Diary is a general wellness tool. You take one photograph of yourself per day, and the app produces a reading of modifiable appearance signals such as skin clarity, the eye area, hydration, radiance, grooming, and posture. Each reading is compared only to your own earlier readings.
The app also lets you log simple daily habits and, every ten scans, produces a written report describing which of your logged habits lines up with your better days.
Not a medical service. Mirror Diary does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a medical device. Nothing in the app should be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about any concern regarding your skin, your health, or your wellbeing.
Not a rating of you as a person. The app does not rank you against other people, does not measure attractiveness, and does not assess fixed features. The numbers describe change over time in your own readings and nothing more.
The readings and reports are observations, not proof of cause. Lighting, camera angle, sleep timing, mood, and many other factors influence how a face photographs on a given day. Do not treat the output as scientific measurement.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Mirror Diary. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.
Mirror Diary uses anonymous authentication. A random identifier is created for you automatically, without a name, email address, or password. You are responsible for the device on which the app is installed. Because your photos and your session live on that device, losing the device or deleting the app will result in the loss of your history, and we cannot recover it for you.
You keep all rights to the photographs you take with the app. You grant us only the limited permission necessary to process each photograph in order to generate your reading, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Photographs are not stored on our servers. Each one is analyzed and discarded within the same request. The only lasting copy is held in the app's private storage on your device. We do not use your photographs for advertising, for identification, or to train AI models.
You agree to photograph only yourself, and not to submit images of other people without their knowledge and consent.
Mirror Diary offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock the full signal breakdown, your 10-day reports, and your complete timeline. Your daily scan, your baseline, your streak, and your share cards remain free.
We may change subscription prices. Where a change affects an existing subscription, Apple will notify you and, depending on the change and your region, may require your consent before the new price takes effect. You can always cancel before a new price applies.
All purchases are processed by Apple. We cannot issue refunds directly. Refund requests are handled by Apple according to its policies, and can be submitted at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Mirror Diary is built to avoid rating or ranking people, but any tool that involves looking closely at your own face can be difficult for some people. If tracking your appearance is making you feel worse rather than better, stop using the app. If you are struggling with body image, disordered eating, or thoughts of self-harm, please reach out to someone. In the United States you can call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline). Elsewhere, contact your local emergency number or a qualified professional.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time. Features may be added or removed between versions. We are not liable to you for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the app or any feature within it.
The app relies on third-party services, including Apple, Supabase, OpenAI, and RevenueCat. Your use of the app is also subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or availability of these providers.
The app, its name, design, text, graphics, and underlying software are owned by the developer and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any reading will be accurate or reliable.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it, and you may erase your data at any time using "Delete account" in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict of law rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws in your country of residence.
